As you know we get no funding from Golf New Zealand or Golf Otago and for us to grow our programme we source funding from the business community. We have some ideas coming up - let us know if you can help!
2027 DUNEDIN JUNIOR STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
This is our premium tournament and we held our first event in January 2026 with 82 players across 2 days and 54 holes. We received excellent coverage in the media and had players from Wanaka, Invercargill, Aorangi and even Australia!
Our 2027 is being held at St Clair Golf Club in January 2027 and we are seeking sponsors for this event:
- Naming Rights Sponsor
- Shirt Sponsor
- Hole tee block sponsor/s
- Drink bottle sponsor

THE ACADEMY
We are wanting to create a training group for players to increase the exposure to senior level play and get more golfing opportunities at a regional & national level. Working in partnership with Golf Otago we hope to support players with a handicap between 5-12 with additional coaching, mentoring, fitness and support.
For this programme to start we need a naming rights partner for 12 months to invest in start up costs and our first few camps. We invisage The Academy to be a stepping stone into Golf Otago representation and will be a high performance academy for selected players.
